"Chef Steve is an excellent Chef! He was our personal Chef for about 8 months. I have three (3) young sons and he would always prepare healthy snacks for them when they came home from school. He would also prepare wonderful meals for the whole family at dinner time. He has a wide range of foods that he can prepare, from Caribbean/Island food, to Asian, to American. Chef Steven’s artistry is a calling. From our initial communication to his departure from my place was an amazing experience. I searched for a chef and sent out emails to several. Chef Steven responded promptly with such professionalism and developed rapport so quickly and easily that I felt like I had known him for years. Needless to say, he was my choice. I did not interview any of the others when they responded.

My 4 course tasting was truly the best ever! I’m a foodie and my taste buds were never so satisfied. Meal presentation and the way he blends various tastes to compliment each other, is a gift. From the shrimp bisque with bits of pureed shrimp; spinach salad with mixture of strawberries, roasted pecans, gorgonzola cheese and bacon vinaigrette to potato wrapped (I’m still trying to figure out how he did that because my potatoes would have split or fallen apart), crabmeat stuffed halibut with lobster sauce culminating with Crème Brule served with mixed berries and chocolate cigar. Whew, that was a mouthful, but it was so good that I remembered all of that from (taste) memory. Although the meal was phenomenal, the service was stellar. Chef Steven is so humble and courteous in his service that you cannot help but bask in the moment. I plan to have many more moments. He is definitely my choice!

Chef Steven has precipitated much culinary delight for my husband and me. His Shrimp Soup and Conch Fritters are delightful, and I especially enjoyed his Spring Rolls with an array of original sauces. My family and I want no other turkey at Thanksgiving, now that we have enjoyed his. I fully expect to see Steven receive acclaim and international attention for his consistently brilliant and creative fare.
